But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

God has a plan for each child. His thoughts towards each child are more than the sands on the seashore. It is our desire at Calvary Chapel North Bay to see each child fulfill the calling that God has on their life. We believe that the best way to do this is to teach children the Word of God in a way that it relevant and applicable to their young lives. We believe that children are much smarter than we give them credit for, therefore we are not afraid to discuss the deeper things of God with them.
The Bible clearly teaches, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6). We believe that it is primarily the parent's job to teach their children the Word of God. But we feel that it is the local church's job to augment the training of the parents. Therefore, we desire to work closely with parents to see their children come to know Christ in a very personal way and to continue walking with Him all of their days.
Our vision for Kid's Church is simple. 'Build - Send - Win'
Build - We want to see children built up in their faith through fun yet systematic study of the Word.
Send - As children are excited about the Lord, they will be witnesses to their friends, classmates, and so on.
Win - As children come to CC North Bay, through His Holy Spirit, we pray that will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
And then the cycle starts all over again!
We believe that the best way for children to learn is to use as many senses as possible for each lesson. Although our Kid's Church is simple in structure, it will have children singing children's worship, hearing the Word of God, writing out excercises, seeing and performing dramatic interpretations of the Scriptures, as well as various arts and crafts. We will also have the children systematically memorizing Scripture, as well as praying and being prayed for.
